Shantel brings nearly 17 years of senior HR leadership experience, including 15 years inside one of the world's most operationally complex organizations — a large federal intelligence agency with 15,000+ employees across domestic and overseas locations, including a tour in Afghanistan. She has directed enterprise-wide HR transformation, led workforce analytics programs, and served as the primary liaison to federal HR governance bodies.
Since founding Thriven, Shantel has extended that same discipline to nonprofit and private-industry environments — building a full HR function from the ground up at a growing nonprofit, and currently serving as fractional CHRO for a private-sector company, leading a full-scale HR transformation for its executive leadership.
Shantel founded Thriven on a simple belief: people decisions are business decisions, and organizations of every size and sector deserve HR leadership that treats them that way.
People First, Mission Always.
